Disney rose $.41 or 1.5 percent, to $28.03.
NY Times fell $.33 or 4.1 percent, to $7.65.
News Corp rose $.14 or 1.0 percent, to $13.65.
TimeWrn rs fell $.06 or .2 percent, to $30.10.
Viacom rose $.27 or .9 percent, to $30.44.
